One thing you should stop doing on social media right now
Still really undervalued, I am afraid
If you are using ChatGPT to write your content and think others won't notice, you are delusional. Humans have evolved brains that are fantastic at pattern-matching. While it was not the case in November 2022 when ChatGPT was a novelty, by February 2026 most of us got used to the characteristic style of ChatGPT prose. It bites you in the eye! And ChatGPT is just a shorthand here, the same applies to any other chatbot.
If you get to experience this prose for a few years in a row, as most of us got to, you will be able to see very familiar patterns. Yes, the underlining AI models evolved, but they are still by design the Great Averagers of the Whole Internet. So we see the patterns, even as they evolve. And the evidence of your chatbot abuse will not be anything simple like unspaced em dashes, nothing reducible to a neat bullet list. But the patterns are there, and they scream at you: this is another bot-generated BS and the "author" didn't even bother to make stylistic edits.
If you are using a chatbot to draft your posts in February 2026, you are not doing yourself any favours. It was excusable in the late 2022 and early 2023. Mid-2023 max. Not anymore! Because you sound like thousands of other chatbot users like you, you don't have your personal voice. Not to mention that it signals you didn't think it was essential to spend your valuable time on writing the damn thing yourself - so we have no reason to care reading it either! Don't you see it? Like, seriously???
Use a chatbot cleverly (for challenging and improving your draft, or for technical writing) or don't at all!
Not to mention that writing (and especially making first drafts) is thinking. Drafting forces you to ideate, gives you lightbulb moments, allows you to consolidate real understanding, not just sloppily stitch together something understood by someone else. It challenges you in all the good ways. If you delegate your thinking to chatbots today, and get into the habit of doing it, you will be functionally brain-dead if you continue this way long enough. Your reasoning abilities will become so thin, no one would want your advice or even an opinion on anything.
You can just as well retire from intellectual work because you will be useless, and your thoughts will be just dumb if you don't force your brain to work.
This is your last warning.
